The
MSL DataWeb 4000 series brings a flexible new approach to
remote asset monitoring and data acquisition, combining
advanced communication methods and accurate measurement into a
highly affordable package requiring minimum set up.
The
DataWeb unit is DIN rail mounted unit providing eight analog
channels (supporting voltage, current and thermocouple
sensors) and eight digital channels in a rugged and compact
unit.
Data is transferred using an Ethernet network, the
Internet or via the integral RS232 port and an additional
modem.
Data can be viewed in real-time or as historic
CSV files which can be imported into other Windows
applications such as Excel and Word.
Communication with
DataWeb only requires Internet Explorer 5. 0 or higher on
the client PC, minimising user software costs. This also
allows simultaneous access to multiple users, enabling plant
data to be viewed in any location.
